How can I configure the settings of my alerts?
In the alert
settings, you can opt to enable sound for active alerts (non-active alerts
remain silent) by clicking the slider. This will generate a beep every 10 seconds,
with volume control linked to your device's volume settings.
Additionally, you can also configure your preferred notifications settings (e-mail/SMS) here:
You can use the same settings for all alert types and choose between
“Disabled” (no notifications), “E-mail” (sends an e-mail notification) or “SMS”
(if you have a verified phone number associated with your account, this option
will notify you of alerts by sending you a SMS). You can also select both
options: E-mail and SMS notifications.
Alternatively, you can change the notification settings for each alert
type individually. There are four alert types:
- Intrusion
Alerts (Control Zones)
- Flight
Plan Alerts (If the UAV doesn’t comply with the submitted flight plan details
or if unknown UAVs intrude your flight plan area)
- Expected
Altitude Exceeded Alerts (If the UAV flies higher than 120m)
- Long
Distance to Pilot Alerts (If the distance between UAV and pilot is >500m)
Here
you can see the different interfaces, whether “Use same settings for all alert
types” is enabled or not. In the latter case, you can adjust the notification
settings for each alert type individually, as described earlier. You can again choose
between “Disabled”, “E-mail”, or “SMS” notifications.
