How and where can I configure my monitoring preferences?
You can configure your monitoring preferences in two ways, depending on whether you want to set them globally for your own account or specifically for individual zones and flight plans:
Global (per default) monitoring preferences: To configure default preferences that will automatically apply to all future Control Zones and Flight Plans you create or monitor:
- Go to the settings panel (click the gear icon in the top navigation bar).
- Under:
- Default monitoring preferences for control zones, or
- Default monitoring preferences for flight plans
- You can specify:
- Traffic type to monitor: manned, unmanned, or all
- Types of alerts: e.g. intrusions, conformance violations
- Notification method: in-app, email, and/or SMS
- Monitoring preferences per zone or flight plan: You can also customize preferences for each specific Control Zone or Flight Plan:
- Go to the zones or flight plans tab
- Click the menu (3 dots) next to the item you want to configure
- Choose "Edit my monitoring preferences"
- Select:
- Which incident types you want to monitor
- How you want to be notified
This allows you to tailor your notifications for sensitive zones or operations without affecting your global settings.
