What do the different pictograms in the 'Detected Flights' tab mean?
Authorisation colour coding
To recap,
cooperative traffic is traffic that is willingly broadcasting its information. UAVs
associated with an existing authorised flight plan are labelled ‘authorised’. Deviating from the stipulated lateral area, altitude, or time
detailed in the flight plan classifies them as ‘non-conforming’, but they remain
‘authorised’. Traffic flying without a flight plan is labelled as ‘unauthorised’
in the Drone Analytics application. The authorisation
status is also indicated by the corresponding colour scheme:
- If a drone is authorised,
i.e., its serial number is part of an authorised flight
plan, it will be displayed with a green shield in the Detections list.
- If a drone is unauthorised or unknown, its icon will change
its colour to red.
Currently, any drone not flying within an integrated UTM (Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management) zone such as the Unifly system and DSA/DAA is automatically labeled as "non-authorized. Our team is working on displaying the status "Unknown" when we don't receive the information.
