When will I receive a threat notification?

When will I receive a threat notification?

You will receive a threat notification when the system detects unauthorized or non-conforming aerial activity within your monitored zones or flight plans.

A "threat" is generated when one or more incidents are detected — for example:

  • A drone enters a Control Zone without authorization.

  • A drone flies outside its approved flight plan (wrong altitude, location, or time).

  • A manned aircraft breaches monitored airspace.

These infractions are then grouped into a single threat, and the overall threat level reflects the highest severity among the grouped incidents.
Info👉 You’ll receive a notification based on:
  • The types of incidents you’ve chosen to monitor.

  • Your alert preferences (in-app, email, SMS).

  • The monitoring settings applied to each zone or flight plan.

Types of incidents that can trigger a threat:

🔒 Intrusion (unauthorized entry):

  • Control Zone intrusion by manned aircraft

  • Control Zone intrusion by unmanned aircraft (drone)

  • Flight Plan intrusion by manned aircraft

  • Flight Plan intrusion by unmanned aircraft (drone)

📍 Flight Plan non-conformance:

  • Above authorized altitude

  • Below authorized altitude

  • Operation outside designated area

  • Operation before scheduled time

  • Operation after scheduled time

  • Unexpected airborne activity

📏 AoR Non-Conformance – Open Category Flights:

  • Exceeding the 120-meter altitude limit defined by regulation

  • Drone exceeded visual line of sight (VLOS) – too far from the pilot (typically >500–1000m)
